Operating Theatre Department
To accommodate the needs of the BINTULU population, two operation theatre rooms are the major cases and one for minor or local anaesthesia cases.
The Operating Theatre Department is situated on the 3rd Floor of the Centre. It is equipped with facilities for Intensive Imaging Procedures, and Camera Systems for Arthroscopy, and Insufflation procedures.
It is also equipped with a self-contained Central Sterilising Supply services. The Operating Theatre runs on a 24-HOURS basis to cater for off-hours emergencies by a team of specialists as and when required.
There are 2 operating rooms available in BINTULU MEDICAL CENTRE. To accommodate the needs of the BINTULU population, two operation theatre rooms are the major cases and one for minor or local anaesthesia cases.
